The Kartar 4-Way Inlet (SS) is a heavy-duty fire brigade breeching inlet designed to enable quick and efficient water supply to a building internal fire hydrant or sprinkler system during emergencies. Made from high-grade stainless steel, this unit offers exceptional corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, making it ideal for long-term use in industrial, marine, and high-rise building applications. The inlet features four 63 mm female instantaneous connections, allowing multiple fire hoses to be connected at once, and a single 100 mm NB flanged outlet that connects to the buildings fixed firefighting pipeline. Built in accordance with IS:904 standards, the Kartar 4-Way Inlet is tested to withstand hydrostatic pressure up to 21 kg/cm2, ensuring reliability under high-pressure operation. Each inlet is fitted with non-return (check) valves to prevent backflow, and the unit typically comes with blank caps and chains for protection. Available with or without a 20 mm gate valve, it is finished in either natural stainless steel polish or red coating for visibility.
