The Kartar Single Plate NRV (Non Return Valve), also known as a single plate check valve, is a flanged, swing type check valve built to prevent reverse flow in fire water supply or pipeline systems. It is typically constructed from cast or ductile iron, meeting IS:5312 standards, and carries the ISI mark for certified quality. Featuring a robust single door (single plate) design, it allows free forward flow and automatically shuts when flow reverses, protecting pumps or hydrant systems from backflow.
